Log in using the following details. Make sure you click ‘students’ at the top. Username = greenland11. Password = greenland11.

Click on Oxford Owl eBook library. To choose the correct level, click on levels and scroll down until you get to the Book Band 8: Purple and then click this level. It will show you all of the books you can read if you choose purple books at school. If you want to read a more difficult book, you can choose a higher, more difficult level.

Spellings

Here are this week’s spellings. Use a dictionary or ask someone in your family to work out what each word means. Then, practise your spellings and learn to spell these words using the same ways that we use at school.

believe                 appear                 often                    group                   beneath              continue               arrive                   women                describe              height

Remember – you can play on TTRockstars and other learning games when you have finished. You can also read extra books that you have at home or using the ebooks on Oxford Owl.

Welcome to Class 11 (Year 3)

My name is Mr Stones and I will be teaching Year 3.

Class Information

Homework will usually be handed out every Monday. This will include spellings and multiplication work. Children should also spend time reading at home as well. They can take home an Accelerated Reading book and they can also take a book from my class reading area.
We will keep the website and our school Twitter account updated with some of the fun things that we have been doing and learning about over the course of the year! Please ask your child’s teacher if you wish to know more.
